In cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Emirates Policy Center (EPC) and the Atlantic Council are pleased to launch the Third Annual Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate. The event is set to take place from 12-14 November 2016, at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, and will be under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Building on the success of the First and Second Annual Abu Dhabi Strategic Debates, this year’s Debate will address issues confronting the Gulf amidst a changing international order; US foreign policy under a new administration; terrorism in the wake of the recent attacks across the world; regional security cooperation in the Middle East; and innovation and cyber security.

The Third Annual Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate seeks to advance our understanding of future trends and the role they play in international politics, and to foster the development of actionable policy recommendations.

This gathering is a unique opportunity to outline and discuss a wide array of objectives, interests, and ideas on foreign policy and security.

The event will boast a variety of prominent international, regional, and national policy-makers, strategists, and experts in Davos-styled panels.
